Fire Protection Publications (FPP) is seeking applications for the position of Accountant. FPP is a department within the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology (CEAT) at Oklahoma State University (OSU) and is the headquarters of the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA). As the world?s leading publisher of high quality and technically accurate training materials, FPP provides a vital service to the fire and emergency services. The materials are used for general training purposes and to prepare for both certification and promotional testing. Incumbent performs mid-level management and supervisory duties for budgeting and daily operations. Develops and maintains cost accounting system for resale items. Reviews and validates all expenses and revenue on the computerized general ledger accounts. Provides managers with proper budget processes and accounting functions. Manages all functions of accounts payable. Possesses signature authority to approve purchases or other transactions within prescribed limits and guidelines.
